They, She; I, We

They all think the girl they see is the real me..
They all wish they, too, could be more like she..
They all want to be near, crowd to be in my midst...
They don't seem to know - I don't even exist.

    Should "some" in the last line be "seem"?

    Although I'm not a fan of rhyme, I thought this poem was quirky, not sad, and it brought to mind "I'm Nobody! Who are you?" (a favorite of mine, by E.D., a poet I would name here, but apparently her last name is triggering the inappropriate word catcher... weird), so props for that. :)
