Tiny Maybe

by rachael   Aug 3, 2011

I feel you deep within me:
Burden, blessing, beast, or beauty
I can't be sure
Slight and shallow shadow
A whisper
Tiny pains, like bursting bubbles
I feel you
I know you
Mine, never his
Mine
I need to think this out, just stop
Rationalization, or realization
Logic and calculus dissuade
But
I feel you
I feel you...
Maybe

    Mystery.
Brings out the glass edge of living to my mind: the uncertaintiy of whether the most powerful aspect of one's being is friend or foe.
Sometimes that which we fear the most is not that we are helpless victims, but powerful tormentors.
