As I close my eyes tight
I can't rest at night
I try to hurry sleep
alas I can do nothing but weep
the day's troubles reappear
a new obstacle everyday
forward an inch 3 steps back
Even if they disappear
rolling in to take their place
is the fears of yesterday
I wonder if I will
ever find peace
if i just let go give in
wake up with no more pain
tempting it is
but i don't wanna be this
the reason someone cant sleep at night
to cause another pain
why i dry those tears
and attempt another day
so the cycle repeats..."
