Bitter End!

by Jack Nightengale   Aug 4, 2011

The dark moon held in hand,
Connected by only a chain,
Deep shadow enveloping it's victims,
Suffocating them without fail.

Life slowly being corrupted,
Memories slowly fading,
Emotions start to break,
The spirit starts to fall.

Bright red heart,
Dark black soul,
A motions blur,
Bitter end

Very chilling poem, thought short leaving much to the imagination which is usually a disturbing thing lol.
I liked how you put this together, the images from a few short words were dark, cold and bone chilling
