Last Wish

by Sunshine   Aug 4, 2011

Today is merely the last one left
for me to make a last wish as I write
you regret through cheery yet woeful
words while the fright bustling with
my nervousness recalls the first
time your eyes harmonized mine

Having no fine plans to start with I
will be picking my own rules off the
paper to condemn the white space that
almost reflects how empty I feel with
direct expressions and less metaphors,
straight to the heart.

But allow my romance to contradict
my maturity for just a solo moment
to prove how my memories breathe
still upon my ears typically
growing with total gentleness
for more little blue buds of spring
as I carry on
fearful of your caring voice that
reunions with the hastiest beat
fleeing with your heart toward a
new winter.

To recall the sweet youthfulness that
you carry with all your aged features
though when next to me I remember
being unaware of the activity around
for you must have been the heart of
being itself even when I never realized so!

Yet during a day such as this one
finding no clues to offer nor claims to
craft I amble by charming recollections
although they are all almost pale now
'cause my world was once a gentleman
in velvet, a world as warm as your
eyes color of red wine.

However trust me I do not pursue to
remake out of you a new part of my life
or to charm you with the passion I fail
to control that defines each tread I seize,
nor I plan to help you see the person
that I have turned to be
for you have always been
everything I am even when I didn't know it.

Just try to forget me not!

Ok, now am fully awake to give you my real comment .. So here we go

Today is merely the last one left
for me to make a last wish as I write
you regret through cheery yet woeful
words while the fright bustling with
    my nervousness recalls the first
    time your eyes harmonized mine
    ^^
Epically choice of wording in here, and what an amazing opening to the poem. "the first time your eyes harmonized mine" WOW you are playing symphonies with you poetry nana ..

Having no fine plans to start with I
will be picking my own rules off the
paper to condemn the white space that
almost reflects how empty I feel with
    direct expressions and less metaphors,
    straight to the heart.
    ^^
Ya, exactly how an emptiness would feel within anyone, white blank void that needs something to fill it.

But allow my romance to contradict
my maturity for just a solo moment
to prove how my memories breathe
    still upon my ears typically
    growing with total gentleness
for more little blue buds of spring
    as I carry on
fearful of your caring voice that
    reunions with the hastiest beat
fleeing with your heart toward a
    new winter.
    ^^
This is where you put tears into my eyes, this is my favourite part in the poem, OMG the first few lines "allow my romance to contradict my maturity for just a solo moment" How did you come up with those words?!

To recall the sweet youthfulness that
you carry with all your aged features
though when next to me I remember
being unaware of the activity around
for you must have been the heart of
being itself even when I never realized so!
    ^^
Especially this line "recall the sweet youthfulness that you carry with all your aged features" I loved the picture and meaning behind this line.

Yet during a day such as this one
finding no clues to offer nor claims to
craft I amble by charming recollections
although they are all almost pale now
'cause my world was once a gentleman
in velvet, a world as warm as your
    eyes color of red wine.
    ^^
Again, last line here is phenomenal, a gentleman in velvet, awwww I loved it.

    ^^
How can anyone forget you after delivering this master piece huh?
I could nearly hear a symphony while reading this poem, a symphony composed of your true lines of emotions, and melodies from your words.

You NAILED it with this one nana :)

Nana, I swear this made me ponder a little bit about my problems and silly life, then recall how much you're strong, and tough enough to face each and every misery! Like I felt my troubles are nothing, in comparison to yours, and that my strength is nothing, in comparison to yours, as well...
you won't believe if I tell you that this is the best piece ever written by you? not because the word choice, but because the feelings that flowed sincerely and smoothly along each stanza, I LOVE your passion, I love it, and I would list you one of the best writers over here just because of your passion and awesomeness.

Though some may say this is cliche, or kinda dunno what, let them say whatever they want, but be sure that this is something I loveeeeeeed.

    "while the fright bustling with
    my nervousness recalls the first
    time your eyes harmonized mine"

This is my favorite part! I so love it.
    Sad, sad, saaad. :)
you did a great job, here.
-the ending was just so perfect, this should be nominated the next week, and -as usual- a winner. ;) Keep writing, you gift :P and Take care. :)
