Nightmare Became of Me

by ChrisT   Aug 5, 2011

I lived in this dream
As a nightmare became of me
Where I dreamt of this dream
A stain of this place in me
Where darkened skies
Rain black on me
(The filth from your lies
About us, you and me)
The thoughts they burn
Deeper than you can see
It's only for you I yearn
It's only for you, never for me

The cold cobblestone streets
They bend, They curve
They bite me, They claw me
Bleeding out my every nerve
Woe behold me every mile
I crawl on my knees
Leaving a trail of bile
As I keep screaming my pleas
To take me and wake me
From this nightmare
That's become of me
Or break me and forsake me
In this nightmare
A stain of a place in me

You have written a wonderful poem again. :) You seriously need to write again.
    Just one misspelling:
    cobylstone, should be cobblestone :)
