Love Is A Lie

First was the girl that smiled
with her quiet eloquent style
gently reminding me of me
but it was not meant to be

Second was the girl that loved
I lost myself just because
she filled an empty hole
but poisoned my very soul

Then the girl I never met
unless you count the internet
too busy and too far away
text messages everyday

I wonder who the next will be
to resurrect the dead in me
sometimes I think I'd rather die
than try to force another try
knowing that all love is a lie.

    I thought this was very well written explaining the 3 different people who have entered into your life, i loved the flow in this it was perfect! Also, people are the ones who lie, but if someone truly loves the other lying will not be involved. There are people out there who do not lie to the ones they love. So please do not give up, love isn't a lie but just the people who claim to love who really don't.
