Prologue: End of Journey.

by Poet on the Piano   Aug 6, 2011

.
We are always searching....
and sometimes, we don't ask
for a physical, tangible object.
Sometimes we need to see
something that's not breaking.
A need to breathe.
A need for a clear horizon-
instead of the fogginess
that amplifies our confusion
until we walk
even more crippled through life.
We spend years, centuries,
on meditating
traveling and preaching
only to realize....
we may not know
how to be ourselves yet.
What "being human"
can truly mean.

I am hopelessly,
a quite romantic
and somewhat depressing
thinker of humanity's world.
I feel like my soul
has gone on empty-
waiting to save Love,
those who live in shallows
of what I know as darkness.

How can I understand
the silence's choke
when breaths die around me?
Yet I should remain
powerless, ineffective-
defected.

Who can lead me?
Looking for trust,
a guide for reckless hearts
is like mourning
over time...
and wishing, suffering,
to see more of it.

But the hour always escapes,
without listening
to my last cry.

    GOSH I love the ending..
At the first read I thought you were going to write philosophical issues.. :p

Well, it's great to see you've mixed philosophy with darkness. .. It just makes the atmosphere gloomier..
    Great.
