When I said it didn't phase me
when you left, couldn't you tell I
was lying ?

When I said it didn't hurt
when you left, deep down I
was silently crying.

You thought I'd be strong
but you were wrong; I've
never felt so empty.

When you walked out the door,
I fell to the floor; that sucked
the life out of me.

If only you knew I'd break down,
would you have turned back around ?
Or would your decision had been clear
and you would have disregarded my tears ?

If only you knew I'd die inside,
would you one more time still try ?
Or would you have your mind made up
and just simply forget our love ?
