His Beloved Liz

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Aug 7, 2011

He sat in a tree
And watched her comb her hair
He had a shrine of her
While she was in her underwear
For three nights he stalked her
Fantasized about her touch
He had to get her to like him
For he loved her too much

One night, he broke into her house
On her parent's anniversary
He handcuffed her and taped her mouth
And told her she didn't have to worry
She let him walk her to his car
And when she was in, he took off the tape
Her eyes filled with terror
And her body trembling with dismay

He then kissed her; she kisses back
He slips the key and unlocks her handcuffs
She breaks free, only to kiss him passionately
He takes a break to observe his true love
He could still see the worry on her face
He was shocked when she finally screamed
Panicking, he reached for his gun
Accidentally shooting her spleen

Blood gushed out onto his favorite white tee
He couldn't believe what he had done
He sat in terror and awe of what happened
He had killed his true love
There was nothing else to live for
As he drove down an uncompleted bridge
Before the ocean water rushed through his ears
He said "I'm sorry, my beloved Liz."
