I like the simplicity of this poem it gives it a special touch. I think that the flow was quite good in the first two stanzas but then it got somehow interrupted. The rhymes are good aswell, not overused or cliche. You described the situation and the according feelings very well and portrayed a vivid image. Overall I think this is a good poem.

I haven't commented in a while and I apologize. I haven't really posted in a while, either. I have missed reading your work. As said above, this is simple yet bitter. The words you used had an impact and drew me in. I hope things get better. Excellent write as always : )
