Losing

by Rolo   Jun 22, 2004

I'm losing my grip;
trying to hold on
But nothing is there,
all is gone...

Left all alone
and in the cold,
Nothing to lean on,
nothing to hold

My cries, unheard;
not making a sound
My heart, empty;
nothing to be found

What happened to my life?
I'm living in the past
I somehow lost control...
it's happening too fast

Hidden in darkness,
soaked in despair
No one ever knowing,
no one ever there

As slow as I'm dying,
I'm fading away
Forgetting who I am,
not wanting to stay

A lonely soul that
no one could mend
Awaits in silence,
hoping for the end

The tears forever fall,
along with my mind
Never to be stopped,
only left behind

Silence truly is
the deadliest sin
I now call for help..
help from within

Someone please help me,
tell me that you know
It can't be avoided,
or I'll have to let go

The force is pulling down,
it's just not fair
I reach out my hand,
only to grab air

I'm losing my grip;
trying to hold on
But nothing is there,
all is gone...
