On existence.

by Allan Padgham   Aug 8, 2011

It seems to me that God might be
Inclined to odd behavior
He sends a curse or something worse
And then provides a Saviour.

If lack of good provoked the flood,
And Sodom and Gomorrah.
Then the Internet is a fair bet
That we won't have tomorrow.

I hate to think our actions are
to God's creation harming.
To cause him to react to that
and give us Global warming.

The answer is quite plain to me,
I see with calm reflection
We never quite know what to do
We lack a clear direction.

So part those clouds and give a shout.
Just point to those transgressing.
Zap one or two like you can do.
To show that you aren't messing.

Then pick one out and tell him all,
point in the right direction,
I only hope that some one else
becomes your first selection.

I think it wise to leave it there,
tho I hope you don't forget.
Of how it went for Joan of Arc.
Make sure the wood stays wet.
