You Reap What You Sow

by UM   Jun 22, 2004

You go through life,
Scared of tomorrow.
Scared because you know,
You reap what you sow.

Everyday, looking over your shoulder,
Watching your back.
Fearful of your foe,
You reap what you sow.

You break my heart,
A step on the pieces.
But you don't even know.
You reap what you sow.

Keep this up,
And I'll be gone.
Nothing you owe,
You reap what you sow.

Well this is over; it has come to a close.
I won't stand for it anymore.
Down your own path, you can go,
You reap what you sow.

Let this be a lesson,
To everyone out there.
Since such a long time ago,
You reap what you sow.

Great job. You did well in writing this piece, though something might be missing. Maybe you would have to extend the poem a bit and get into more detail about reaping what you have sown.
    Keep up the good work.
