Darkness Within

by NineteenMinutes   Aug 8, 2011

Don't let me fall due to the darkness within,
Let me repent and wash off my sins,
Let me forgive and let me forget,
Wash my hands of all this crippling regret,
Brake the ice and spread my wings,
Travel a new road and see what it brings,
The darkness is heavy and it hangs on my heart,
Turning to lead so i don't know where to start,
Causing me pain that I cannot bare,
Then you take my hand and there's no darkness there,
So don't let me go please just stay,
You hold my heart so drive the darkness away.
