The Perfect Girl

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Aug 9, 2011

You and your girl aren't working out
you'd come to me for advice
the truth hurts when I talk about you
and how she doesn't fit right

she cheats and lies; so pathetic
and frankly, I don't seem to get it
you must love her more than you should
but I know a girl who can fit good

she's the one you always come to
when you're feeling your worst
she can say a speech on how much she loves you
and never once sound rehearsed

no matter how alone you may feel
she was there to make you happy
take a guess; make it your best
all this time, the perfect girl for you was me
