Life Since Her (collab with liliana)

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Aug 9, 2011

If I had to pick where my life first starts
When I met you would be the perfect part
When you kissed me I forgot my past pain
The memories of her disappearing like tears in rain

Those kisses give me a mix of so many feelings
The lonely business man that had so many dealings
Abandoned by the ones who were suppose to love him
I was miserable until I found a girl named Kim

Living alone over four dark and cold walls
Always hoping for her love, hoping for her calls
In the past all I cared for was my ungrateful work
An now I see myself going with her to the cirque

I sit in the sun with the sky so blue
Listing to the songs that remind me of you
As the day turns to night I pray to the stars
Ill love you forever, you will never leave my arms

Now I am able to feel goose bumps and butterflies
Forgetting about that work surrounded by schemes and lies
Now I am sure my happiness as no future ending
Since with her the rest of my life I will be spending.

    Beautiful(;
    I loved the rhyming, it was perfect. The only thing that kinda of messed me up was how you used her name.
    I didn't think it "fitted."
    But great overall!(;

    Well these are pure feelings of love.. and there is some harmony between you two, which gives this piece some depth and vivid thoughts..

    well done

    Just a few tiny suggestions: "An" in the third stanza should be "And", "Ill" = "I'll" and "as" = "has"
    You two did a good job here, especially since the feelings seem really convincing and because I cannot tell who wrote what part. The flow was good and I liked your choice of words since it fit to the content. The last stanza was my favorite because it showed the love the speaker feels for that woman.
