I'll be waiting

by joe m durham   Aug 9, 2011

Shes walking the streets with a broken heart

And Im boarding this train about to travel far

Ashamed of the flood I caused

Sorry for being filled with a lot of flaws

The fights and yelling have frozen my jaws

My minds a mess so my feelings stall

And my cheeks moist of tears

Thinking we'd never fall after all these years

I think its time to face my fears

To look at my friends without you there

It will take more than a smile to make these dark clouds disappear

But I'll try!!!!

Now if you ever change your mind

My door won't be locked so please come inside

Put the past behind your hand in mine

And turn these dark clouds to sunshine

Then let our lives past us by as I am yours and you are mine..
