Stay unleavened

by deaph   Aug 10, 2011

My child I want you to stay unleavened,
You were born before me and I know you.
Your eyes tell me another story,
so tell me what is it that lingers behind that smile,
that shakes your faith and belittles your spirit.
I want you to stay untouched, not by the winds that blow this world nor quench your thirst on the dirty waters that run on the streams where the troubled men swim.
you look innocent peaceful but your smile seems to be an alteration of what I see.
I want you to stay strong because the world is not for the weak, it will trouble your soul, laugh at your pain and kick you while you're down.
Enemies will befriend you so watch those closest to you and never give away what you can't have back.
You will laugh and cry but remember you have to always share your pain.
