Walk there where you will leave marks (Acrostic)

by Jenni   Aug 11, 2011

Why give up something that
always mattered to you,
like love you feel, you
know, will be returned.

Things aren't meant to be easy;
have hovering thoughts,
endure all of them
rather than let go,
evict them not.

Why give up something that
hears your silent calls,
elicit their interest,
recure your soul,
empower them not.

Yearning for importance
or to be remembered,
underrated carelessness.

Why give up something that
is worthy of being kept,
like pleasure you feel; don't
loathe what you once enjoyed.

Leave marks that will
encourage to be remembered
and they have to
verify that you are
enlightened.

Memories will grow
and you'll leave marks.
Road of life is
known to be
stony.
