Depart

by Nomad Being   Aug 11, 2011

A voiceless feeling surges inside
And a graving heart fights within
Inhaling the ashes of smoked air
So embark the departure tonight

Trying to stretch this frail string
For an abiding chase commence
Unwilling to foresee a vivid moat
Howl until, though begins to end

With frozen tear the soul shrinks
Rapt hideous in a diamond cage
Dust surrounds no hope remains
Watches crystal willing to break

As hasty shadow plunges inside
Silence instills the graving heart
Demise confiding the last words
The man cries as his soul departs!!

Wow. very soothing piece. All were perfectly written. The flows, the rhythm and the words of choice were clever and neat. The scheme of the poem was stated deep but meaningful. This really great. Amazing!

I want to say, I insist on saying: HOW DID YOU....?

First, how did you manage to make it a perfectly structured poem?

And second, how did you create such provoking, chilling imagery?

    mmm...
    I'm awe-struck now.
