Is it a crime?

by The Po whet   Aug 12, 2011

Many times i've tried to let go,
more than once i've been accused,
their's reason,they claim is legitimate,
but am i not human as to get intimate?
Why do they find it hard to understand,
that it's here to you i'm making my stand.

do they know it wasn't mine plan initially?
even if they see it as though finally,
will they ever again believe in me?
they say i'm putting asunder what is together,
a captain of the sea i've anchored a treasure island,
is there logic i depart just as soon?

i've lied not once,not twice,
cause afraid i've been of lose,
the mind has looked away;but the heart just can't betray,
your trust i might be as well losing,
but still to me a lot you mean,
and glad i'm you know it so.

cant face it no more,
the guilt is heavier than lead,
they claim i'm losing the battle,
though i know i'm winning the war,
you the judge, i the culprit,
tell me, is it a crime?

You have a great ability for imagination and emotional poems. Some of the grammar needed some editing but I see a lot of enjoyment for us readers in your work
