by You Can Speak But I Can Rhyme   Aug 13, 2011

Talk about the pain;
i keep inside;
Over the face;
i am pretty fine;
Deep in my own shadows;
i lurk and i hide;
Hoping you'd understand;
as time passes by...

Cries i cry;
alone i strive;
My sad story;
i put behind;
Smiles i smile;
and pretend i'm fine;
Perhaps if they knew;
that world's so not kind...

Endless times;
used and betrayed;
Made friends;
and dug my own grave;
Still the smiles i smile;
and pretend i'm fine;
Pains too much;
to even cry sometimes...

Choked in emotions;
difficult to breathe;
Perhaps like time;
it's just a mood swing;
But truth is truth;
i must abide;
I am in pain;
i need not lie...

Life is hard; now i know;
To each is own happiness;
Is the lesson i thrive;
I walk on this very path;
As if nothing's changed;
But truth is indeed the truth;
Pain is endless in the world i live...
