Grace and Beauty

by Cinnamonspice   Aug 13, 2011

Pink cherry blossoms
held in the winds gentle hands
fall silently down
natures gossamer petals
grace our vision with beauty

I see in your verse a painting full of motion. Natures playfullness is definitely quite enchanting. Absolutely beautiful :)

I must say the choice of words on this exquisite flower with delicate (gossamer) petals, one of nature's mysterious beauties whose flowers suddenly wilts and falls was a pleasure to read. I would have used it as a beutiful opening or closing of a poem to metaphorically describe a beautiful woman's face/feelings suddenly saddened by a loss (such as a lover's). Lovely short poem.
