Blood and tears

Scars,
on her wrist,
her arm,
her legs,
but the biggest scar,
is on her shattered heart.

Tells a story of a girl,
hurt her whole life,
by friends backstabbing,
her mom dying,
her dads health problems,
by a stupid boy breaking her heart,
pain felt her entire life.

No room to breathe,
she locks herself in her room,
holding the sharpest knife she could find,
contemplates just shoving it into her heart,
slowly bleeding to death,
to feel the pain no more.

Her heart can't take it anymore,
its had enough,
its been beating through this pain for to long,
it wants to give up,
shut down,
and just let go of life altogether.

She plasters on a fake smile,
creates the perfect fake laugh,
lets nobody knows shes hurt,
till her friend calls her out,
your eyes,
i can see all the pain,
stop faking happy,
and just let it all out.

She thinks to herself,
let it all out,
her choices come to mind,
suicide,
cutting,
running away,
crying.

Her mind goes to cutting,
as tears race down her face,
its like there playing a game,
who can drop the fastest on her cut up body,
mixing with the blood,
she sees it forms a broken heart,
that slowly pieces itself back together.

A sign from god,
telling her cheer up,
don't let it get you down,
you'll be okay,
put that knife away.

She sets it down,
looks in the mirror,
all the blood and tears,
forming a perfect healthy heart,
beating through the pain,
this time not wanting to give up.

Just a story of a girl,
who has scars all over her body,
about the pain shes endeared her whole life,
she wipes away the last falling tears,
puts a smile on her face,
except this time its real,
and she looks up to god,
thanking him for showing her this sign,
that she'll be okay <3
