The fragrance light up my soul,

    - fragrance lights up*

Do they realize that i possess sorrow,

    - capital I - since you have every other one correct, I assume you just mistyped this one.

This is such a beautiful poem, and expresses that point of life, and how we can so often miss it because we are waiting for something better, expecting something better, but not really appreciating what we have at the present, or we do not make more efforts to make it better than it is.

I loved your opening list of the examples you used for life but none of them were the fit for your life, so you gave your own one then explained it. This was clever and I think it really makes an interesting opening to a poem.

I liked the regretful tone in the end of the poem, I think it is this kind of tone which makes us ponder our life and not want to waste it or regret it like those older than us can often remind us of.

    Nicely penned.
