Time Will Heal All Wounds

Time's strong hands make us sever
But time is only temporary
Though it could last forever.

Time is nothing to a summer day--
It will return some way.
Things may perish with it
But emotions never sway.

I'm readying my things
For a long cold winter
But I'll never waiver
Like a big strong splinter
With a sharp edge on the side
So sadness never lingers.

Time will heal all wounds,
The sun will rise tomorrow,
And we will still be here
Always, with no sorrow..
Seeing what fate wants to borrow.

I'm going now
That's all I'll say
Don't think too loud
It's just Monday.
