Thinking of what Sara Said

by Steven   Aug 16, 2011

The moment drew close
From the Start to the end
Love was still alive
As it slowly fades away
The tension was placed
cold and heavy rain
the sudden change of breath
to the end of the candle light
Souls that were singing our song
with heaven rain fall turned into tears
prayers were never heard again
as Sara came and left
leaving a empty space in the skies
it was finally over
a relationship that grown over tides
now it's all single
thinking of what Sara said that night
love is watching
someone say good-bye

WOW! This piece is amazing!! It is strong to start off with but it only grows stronger. The word choice is excellent, even though it is simple it does not cross the boarder into plain. Your voice is clear and shone very well. Story or ourpose and the creativity go hand in hand and are used to make each other bolder. Flow is not a problem in this piece like most pieces I have seen lately, so congrats there. Emotion is highly executed, and I must say that you have aced that portion of writing poetry. All in all, I must say you have penned a magnificent piece.
