8-15-2011 Writing Poetry Thread "Ideas"

Narph: 'Noooo.... don't do the pain/love/angst thing.
Write a haiku about your favorite pair of shoes.
Then write an eight line rhyming poem about a fish.

Then write about the rain.

If you succeed in all these, then you can write about pain/love/angst... but only if you must!
