Comments : Moral Solace (completed as a collab with A lonely soul)

I would say a very thoughtful verse, though it is short enough to be a quote.

This piece reminds me of an age old Indian saying:

“They who give have all things; they who withhold have nothing.”

    Connie,
This was so true, honest and morally valued.
Short enough to be a quote yet brilliant as a poem, sometimes single stanza's are hard to write because the emotion or the imagery needs to be spot on, In this it was undoubtedly flawless.

    Love always,
    Tara-Kay

Wisdom fills this verse, definitely well penned! It's a shame, there aren't many people who feel like this anymore. I can't wait for the day when doing something nice for someone, will be reward enough. Take care

The two contradicting verse are very well written. And the words chosen, inscribe the depth within such short stanzas.

I love how there are two sides to this poem. One description of a person who has good morals and who is wise. The other who is unswise and does things more for recongnition than for being what is in their heart and the right thing to do.

Two stanzas but each is powerful.

    Reveling only in the joy
    of moral solace.

I love this - it makes me think of a person being humble!

    What a lovely collab!

I like seeing both parts because it shows the difference between the wise and the unwise and it makes the message even clearer. When I first read the second stanza, I sort of knew that it was from lonely soul. It has his style but I wasn't sure until I finished reading the annotation. well done the flow of is amazing.
