A Minute Of Serendipity

by Meme   Aug 16, 2011

I can't collect my thoughts,
but in a moment of time
you collect me, my senses,
my everything.

And when I'm lost in a sea
of thoughtlessness, when
nothing matters to me, you
become the only vivid thought.

In the time of my awareness
you escape my mind, only to
captivate the seconds when I
surrender to my dreams.

When I eventually give up,
I can feel your presence here
with me, but the mirrors fail to
capture your reflection.

It seems that I'm resting my
burdens, along the way that
leads to an infinite contradiction
that awaits for me.

But I still am able to steal a
minute of serendipity to claim
that you are, and always will be
destined for me.
