Death:brave it or dread it

by The Po whet   Aug 17, 2011

Everyone's wish if were to be granted,
would be,death be no more,
loved ones it has snatched stealthly,
their souls it has vanished with in thin air,
many it has left in grief and in despair,
yet it creeps back and snatches yet another loved one.

six feet under in a casket or;
sixty feet airbone in a plane,
your choice?,i can readily guess,
we all are mortal,
and none is immortal,
with death's cure being an illusion,
will the human race survive it's terrible ordeal?

life comprise of three stages,
childhood,adulthood and old'age,
which stage are you heading to?
are you ready for your next stop?
if death is approaching for you,
will you brave it or dread it?

dedication:to all who have lost loved ones, know that death is inevitable, though the lose is painful,it is beyond our human ability to reverse the course of nature, take heart.

Death is feared by some, embraced by others. It's a matter of belief, but as pointed out in this write there is no cure or magic potion to stop it.
You indeed penned a good piece, diving deep into the minds of many
