Cinderella

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Aug 18, 2011

Everyday he's on your mind
Every second his love you try to find
But every time he sweeps you aside
As you sit alone all that's heard is cries

If true love is what you dream
Open up your eyes to things unseen
I'm as real as the sky and the stars
For a soul mate, you don't have to look far

You're a prisoner of your own heart
I want to free you, but where do I start?
You run around all day, you're just a slave to him
And all you ask for in return is feelings from with in

Come and get your dream, your fairy tale ending
Love is blind, your not happy stop pretending
Give me the chance to be loving and true
I'll be your prince charming let me rescue you.

Good piece Tony, The flow was a little choppy in places, and some of the rhymes seemed forced, but overall, the content was beautifully worded, so good job.

    Love Tara
