Dream Catch Me

by Aureus Argentum   Aug 18, 2011

You would dream catch me
free-falling into ambrosia
until the very
smell of this ointment
would only stench.

And I, a hyperbole
for your pages,
would tear and wrinkle,
bundled into crumbs
and thrown aside.

No longer burning,
as the ocean,
for your fervent smile.

What a very powerful ending, I loved it, Bri.
This whole piece spoke to me, I found it so interesting starting from the title till the closing lines, I agree with Ingrid, well-done. :)

    Heyyyyyy, you posted it! ..:)

Life is all about hurting, bleeding, letting go, picking yourself up and stand tall again. You are able to write about those things in the most beautiful way. Well done, princess:)
