I love how you play with words, twist and bend them to say the most beautiful or heart breaking things.
This is among my favorites, it had a peacefulness and a deep sadness. You're so talented.

This, Jenni, has taken every possible comment I had for it originally away. I have nothing left except that if this doesn't win, I'll be amazed! Because this poem is... is... WOW!! In the most fabulous way.

I enjoyed reading this poem. The wording was great and got your message a point. It is a nice length and a good read.

    "her cracked soul, trying to
merge with it and it reveals a
    sincere mourning that
    causes her to writhe."

    maybe try

    "her cracked soul,
    trying to merge with it
as it reveals a sincere mourning
    that causes her to writhe"

    5/5

Delicate and fabolous composition with a lot of twist, peppered with a ardent opulence of romantic and sad diction.
