Like My Brother

My Best friend,
is like my brother,
protective over me,
makes me smile,
cheers me up,
is a huge part of me.

Cake batter fights,
water fights,
cussing each other out,
stupid arguments,
long hugs,
kicking each others butts,
is how we roll.

Met my sophomore year,
talked bout our speech class,
with a squirrel named fluffy,
instantly clicked,
told me I'm his only attractive friend,
always together,
throwing things at each other during lunch,
laughing so hard were crying.

Like my brother,
hates it when i cry,
would do anything to make the hurt go away,
takes care of me when I'm sick,
always tells me to smile,
and to remember hes always there for me,
whether I'm drunk off my butt,
or just lonely.

He lives in Texas,
thousands of miles away,
and i miss him so much,
he means the world to me,
even though we fight,
and i say rude things,
were still best friends,
through thick and thin.

Like my brother,
he means more to me,
then my actual brother does,
I'd do anything for him,
hurt any girl that messes with his heart,
and make sure hes happy.

Life is hard,
but when you got a best friend like him,
you know everything's gonna be okay,
i love you to death,
your like my brother,
forever in my heart.
