Alone in the Dark

by Ashley Laster   Aug 21, 2011

Alone in the dark, I hear her cry
the young teenagers heart begins to die.
Her shattered heart like stinging rain
late at night I can feel her pain.
Tears of blood running down her face
waiting desperately for loves comforting embrace.
Dark as night, clear as air
find her body if you care.
Alone in the dark, curled on the floor
hoping soon someone will open the door.
Her body still young, eyes still green
her heart was ripped out, but nobody screamed.
Listen closely to the falling leaves
someday soon you will feel the breeze.
The breeze of a girl who died so young
who didnt have no one and died alone.
