With silent contemplation,
And still concentration,
We can see life's inner reflection
In our world,
Life is but a deck of cards
Life's events all depend on the luck of the draw
The ultimate question in life is whether to play or fold
At the edge of our world,
Our memories are what paint our cards,
In many different colors
We paint,
With silent contemplation,
So that we do not fall to temptation,
And lose sight of our goals
In the end,
All we can hope for is that our Creator,
Can shuffle well and be able to deal,
Our fair share of cards
Before we venture beyond the edge of our world
And the game is over and done
