There is simplicity in the notions of heartbeats

by Indian Comma Bean   Aug 22, 2011

Meteors rest wearily on ardent plateaus,
yet yearning youthful fire burns deep below.
Eyes clamor on the opportunity to grasp the fur
of angels lying placid wings upon the hills,
all the while ice churns on the brow of shallow reflections.
Abstract portraits of the universe dance
a subtle mirage - shimmering in the heart of frozen teeth; a glittering golden guise befalls a nation.
A valley of eyes traverse the turquoise shallows,
plunging atop the fin of aquatic arms
reaching for all that has been relinquished.

    This was penned beautifully,
The flow was great, and imagery very real, I thought this was lovely,
My only fault, and as small as it is, is I think there were a few too many complicated words in here, I didn't quite understand them all, but otherwise, a fantastic piece
    5/5
    love,
    Tara
