Ok, regarding the Pm I received,

the poem is just a whatever regarding the Daily Horoscope, as we don't believe it yet most of those who do not believe make sure to read it everyday, and somehow as if they expect (or hope) what they read to be correct :P

    RANIA.. would a GODDESS suffice?
RANIA.. I love you and your writes!
They're just awesome to comment or rate or even nominate.

I swear if I have 10 nomination, I would nominate this for you..

With every other piece, you either remind me of a voice, a famous person, a play, a book..

And now.. You instantly reminded me of a commercial they used to show on LBC :p

I forgot what it was about, but the sweet, soft, crispy voice of the lady narrator was just so senses-tickling.. It just makes you go kinky when you hear the voice... I remember it says:

"I hate how you look.. how you steal my fries.. how you dance..." -- such stuff :p A333! If I could remember what it was about!

Your tone here was just so delicate.. so vivid.. so imaginative... so lighthearted!

The title '87' is just so alluring! :)

    It might be hectic
    bursting with announcements
    (Today's schedule)
    like the world is declaring
    your presence outdoors,
    that's what the horoscope said,
    disregarding what I read with
shy excitement I clear my throat
as if ready for your call.

^ You really have something with openings. You just magnetize and hypnotize the reader to let him/her completed till the very end.
Here, the idea of course is incomplete.. But I like how it paved the way to the end :)

    You're not a Sagittarius
but who said I even believe in signs
    and compatibility,
    but I fixed my makeup
and picked the shadow black shirt
you said you liked on me, dark red
gloss, wild like your lips when
    sweetly coated with my name
as you whisper it like God's forbidden
calling me-how silly you are sometimes
    don't you know he's everywhere?

^ At the thought, I just want to go to the bathroom for a piss (excuse me :p) because I instantly get the feeling of sliding down a river fall :p !!! WOWWWWWWWW - so much thrill.. I can even forget myself.. OOPSIESSS XP

The phone rings by the time I was
    smiling at your stupid jokes
    "Are you ready", you said
    for you've reserved a table
    in my favorite restaurant,
and dear I swear I already knew
    it was table 87,
I read it was my lucky number
    that day.

Though I don't even believe in luck

    ^^ DRUMROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ******

Now here, ladies and gentleman, the most beautiful stanza I've ever read,, so far,, I think it's so empowering! so tight!!!

The idea here is so original! ..

And yet, there was a Lebanese series on LBC like 5 years ago called: "the 13th Zodiac" ... You just reminded me of it.. It's about the Daily Horoscope addiction ... :p

    LOL

    3njaaaaaaaaaddd amazing!!!

    NOMINATION from nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww<3<3

This was perfect.. in all aspects..!

    'for you've reserved'
^ eliminate the 'for' :p It's not correct there.

^^^ I couldn't but tell you about it :p LOL

    EXCELLENTTT RANIA :D

If I can nominate this poem a 1000's times I would. I just cant seem to get enough of it. To me its my favorite poem, the best I have ever read. Its seems to give me this magical feeling whenever I read it. I'm a daydreamer, and this poem takes me to somewhere else every time I read it.

    It might be hectic
    bursting with announcements
    (Today's schedule)
    like the world is declaring
    your presence outdoors,
    that's what the horoscope said,
    ^^
Got my attention, already drown into the mood of it. Mesmerizing, amazing intro.

    disregarding what I read with
shy excitement I clear my throat
as if ready for your call.
    ^^
This is just so real, this is what really happens when you await for that kind of a phone call.

    but I fixed my makeup
and picked the shadow black shirt
you said you liked on me, dark red
gloss, wild like your lips when
    sweetly coated with my name
    ^^
Ohh how I loved the metaphor of where the redness on his lips came from, so sweeeeet

    how silly you are sometimes
    don't you know he's everywhere?
    ^^
I love it, just love it how you mock him in these few lines :)

and dear I swear I already knew
    it was table 87,
    ^^
If you called the poem "Table 87" it would be so amazing too. I loved the wrapping up of this poem.

5/5, a nomination, and if given the power to do so, a win too :)

    "You're not a Sagittarius
but who said I even believe in signs
    and compatibility,"

I really like this piece the best, it made me smile with your negativity.. because deep down where the question comes from, you go back and forth because you don't WANT to believe in it, but you do. The compatibility is there, and you run from it, but your true emotions wont fully let you.

I wasn't particularly fond of the detailed in what you were wearing the first couple reads. It seemed a bit tedious, but once you get down to the bottom of the poem, the 'aloofness' all went together and added more depth and meaning that what originally meets the eye, and I like that. It just depends on the reader taking the time and having the patience to delve into your words :)

I love the ending with table number 87. I love the "I read it was my lucky number that day", and again not believing, when I think deep down you do. Too many coincidences in life, Nana, too many things that add up but you never know why. I don't believe in coincidences... everything is placed together for a reason ;)

Wow Nana I really enjoyed this poem!! I loved ittt! I can't believe I didn't read it sooner, but congratulations on the win! I loveeeddd the idea of the poem, I completely got the concept of not believing horoscopes, but still reading them and hoping there is some truth behind it... It was very well-written and I loved the story you told in this poem :)

I can't believe I read this the whole week it has been on the frontpage yet did not stop to comment...Such a silly person...

in my head I got it all so clear..
First there was this woman reading her horoscope for the day...
later on she started to get ready for her day...
    And then...she gets a call..

Omg you provided such vivid images...

The story-tone This poem had to it made it So much more interesting

Though the ending broke my heart...

your play with words was magical...

This should stay 3 4 5678 more weeks on the frontpage because it is truly worthy of it..
