Take a chance on pain

She's been broken hearted,
and left to cry;
Has had everyone walk away on things they started,
with out so much as a reason for their goodbye.

She's faked her smile,
and laughed while tears are in her eyes.
Thought of disappearing for awhile;
just take a chance and hit the skies.

He's been broken hearted,
and never questioned why.
Walked away on things he started,
and never gave a reason for his goodbye.

Now shes his reason for his smile,
and he's the one that wipes the tears from her eyes.
They want to run away for a while,
buy a plane ticket and hit the skies.

Two very different people,
brought together by pain.
Standing tall together,
proving that its okay to dance in the rain.
