How I Feel

I wish I could make you feel as I feel.
Then you might see that this really is a big deal.
You two have taken away from me someone I truly love.
By saying I'm only wanting attention from 'boys' and i'm far to young.
But this is my life to live and my heart to give.
I only wish that you both could be understanding.
I am not asking for much, nor am I demanding.
I need to experience the world.
And you need to realize that I am. no longer a little girl.
I'm not a helpless child anymore.
I can handle my own, and I don't see what you are protecting me for.
So now if you could see how I felt for just 15 minutes.
You might see that you really have put a bind on my life along with the people in it.
No longer may I see him or speak to him on the phone.
Just because two people will not condone.
Two people will not let me live my own life.
So now I am left to deal with all the strife.
I would do anything in the world to make you feel as I feel.
Just so you could see that this is a big deal.
