In a box, in the corner of my closet
lies the past of you and I
gripped tight in my hand are the scissors
took me a while but it's time

the necklace with your initials
the charm bracelet with your name
"I love you." engraved on the ring
they finally are thrown away

the plush animal on my bed
that sings "I love you beary much."
beside the little duck you won for me
is already lost in the trash truck

last but not least, the raging feelings
are unlocked and gradually escaping
my heart emotes no love for you
