My Christmas Wish

Every year it's the same old thing

caroling, lights, trees and presents.

Every year I've got a wish list.

Some things on it never change.

I wish you were better.

I wish we didn't fight.

I wish things were different.

I wish we didn't need so much.

I wish the family was together.

I wish there wasn't any problems.

I wish this every year, but it only

gets worse. I think to myself,

"Next year, my wishes will come true."

But I wake up Christmas day, and

they never do.
