He Falls

by Maggie   Aug 28, 2011

Shall I not let us fall from where we started. The top of every mountain he'll find himself staring at the time he walked alone. To who he calls upon, the ones he's let go, the ones he's told to leave his side and grow alone. The top of the mountain he once cried upon in wonders of dying, knowing his days are slipping away from his eyes. The relationship between the needs and wants who never won over his heart. Said he'd fly from the top as he fell with his eyes shut tight. "Let me fall in peace let me fly with great hopes that I never received." Upon the hopes of a buried man, lay leafs for every wish he'd deserve, for every kiss he once told. Growing in seasons with flowers of doom, no pain. Sprinkled with faith of no name. He's falling above from where she stood, thought maybe she could, but instead, let go of all her good. "Let me stay here and pray, let me cry to the heavens to show you the way." To those who tower away from above his grave, throw down your flower because tonight we all wave.
