Depend

Sometimes I just want to run,
Maybe just hide away,
Sometimes I just want to leave,
But I know I have to stay.
People depend on me,
To keep them safe and be strong,
I am the one they turn to,
When everything in life is wrong.
They come to me with problems,
They think I can make it go away,
But what they never realize,
Is I might be down myself that day.
I have the world on my shoulders,
The weight is pushing me down,
It feels like I'm deep under water,
I know I'm going to drown.
I cant keep my head above the waves,
I cant see the blue sky,
I know I wont come back from this,
Its the time I'm going to die.
People cant use me anymore,
Its pushed me over the end,
This time there is no coming back,
On me they cant depend.
