Invading My Dreams

One after another,
you invade my dreams,
torturing my mind,
a constant reminder you're not mine,
tearing me apart inside,
every time i see that gorgeous face of yours.

Waking up,
tears pouring out my eyes,
dripping down drenching my pillow,
looking at my moms portrait,
asking why is this happening,
why can't I just forget him.

Every night,
scared to fall asleep,
fighting to stay awake,
you invade my dreams,
flashing your smile i miss so much,
remembering she has you,
and you & i no longer exist.

One after another,
you're in every dream,
torturing my mind,
letting me know hes not yours,
re breaking my heart,
trying to forget you,
erase you from my memory,
but my body won't let me.
