The Fiddler and the cat

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Aug 31, 2011

Sweet sounds serenading the town folk
Music notes fill the open world
With harmony and joy

A rainbow of melody flows through the sky
Colours of the soft wind flows
Enters the mind and soul

The sound of coins as he appears
Moving oh so graciously
Entering every heart

As the night falls the music dies
As the sweet music dies
He suddenly stops

As they disappear.

This is so much different, Tony(:
Change is often good, but here it is marvelous! What a lovely write..
    I loved the imagery!
The title got me thinking something else,
and I read the poem and I'm like, ":O OOOH!"
    This is a wonderful write.

    5 out of 5!

You're so versatile, your imagination must work overtime and from it the sweetest words hit the paper. I love this very peaceful and serene piece.
