The first night we meet
you were so kind,
fun and easy going
with not a care in the world.
Asked before doing,
agreed with me
and told me you're life.
I walked through the door,
done with men
and ready to party.
You flirted
and I ignored you,
like you didn't exist
but ready to be friends
and have fun.
You told me about you,
I told you nothing.
I put no effort towards your moves.
You asked questions
trying to figure me out.
The night went on
and I had fun,
still you were there,
by my side.
You were kind
Kept saying that I had beautiful eyes
and in my drunken state
I had made the first move.
We kissed a lot,
becoming girlfriend and boyfriend.
I always knew
that you're kindness would fade.
The time came
and I finally said goodbye.
