    Connie, this is a masterpiece, like da Vinci's The Last Supper. And like it, this was beauifully painted with fine words. You used sadness as a medium to express the emotions of someone who feels love and that in my opinion makes it more interesting. I really love the openning lines, and the middle too, well, and the ending, hell! I love all of it, lol. Excellent. :D

    Pieces of a splintered
    heart litter pristine
    beaches once pure
    and white.

    and

    His love bankrupt
    her fragile spirit.
    Leaving a barren shell
    colored in emptiness.

    Awh! Moving. It is subtle and precisely mature, like ones hands swaying to and fro pouring the heart onto the lines whilst the eyes just gazing.

    Beautifully written, I love the words you use to describe the girl within this piece. Amazing job.
